Welcome to Trefriw Outdoors. The aim of this website is to promote our village and its environs as well as being a useful resource for residents and visitors alike. Trefriw is situated right at the heart of the Conwy Valley and is surrounded by the most verdant, scenic countryside. This most pleasant location lends itself benevolently to some of the most popular outdoor activities for all age groups including cycling and walking.

Trefriw Trails is a community led project improving access to footpaths in and around Trefriw. Our 8 developed trails vary in length, difficulty and terrain.

Although the waymarking is checked regularly, we strongly recommend the use of a Map such as the OS Landranger 17 Snowdonia Outdoor Leisure Map. Check weather forecasts before you set out, and wear appropriate footwear as there are muddy and rocky, and wet conditions under foot.

Please follow the Countryside Code: Be safe, plan ahead and follow signs. Leave gates and property as you find them. Protect plants and animals, take your litter home. Keep dogs under close control, and be considerate to other people.
