Welcome to Trefriw Outdoors. The aim of this website is to promote our village and its environs as well as being a useful resource for residents and visitors alike. Trefriw is situated right at the heart of the Conwy Valley and is surrounded by the most verdant, scenic countryside. This most pleasant location lends itself benevolently to some of the most popular outdoor activities for all age groups including cycling and walking.

Climbing
Trefriw lies at the very heart of some of the best trekking, climbing and walking areas in the UK. You can check out some of the more relaxed and peaceful walks on our Trefriw Trails pages, but if you are after something more challenging then look no further. The towering peaks of Snowdon, Tryfan, the Glyders and the Carneddau are within easy reach of our village and these mountains, along with their surrounding foothills provide some excellent technical scrambling and mountaineering challenges for every skill level.
The area is home to a wide range of climbing and adventure centres offering guided tours, mountaineering courses and a wide range of other activities for family fun, corporate events or a good white-
